I am really excited for my CD to come out! It should be done with production within the next few weeks, then it is off to the manufacturers. I hope to have it done pretty soon into the newyear. I talked to Angie today (the owner of SIP), and she said that she will promote and host my CD release party. That will be great…i hope. I need to get on the ball as far as posters and all that jazz. It should be pretty great.

It really is true that “life is like a box of chocolates”. It is amazing to see what you get! I can’t stop praising God lately. Even though there has been a lot of crappy things happening in the last few months, I can see His hand in it all — so I am o.k. with everything that has gone down. I just pray that I will continue to see His hand as He takes us along. Kesha and I are very excited about the future!
I am at Sip right now drinkin’ a hot chai with bubbles. Mmmm…not much beating that on a chilly day in the great Northwest.
Tomorrow is poker night at my place. Kesha is off to Seattle with her mum. If you want to come you know where I live. And if you don’t know where I live and want in — drop me an email.
BTW. I shuffled 20 poker chips today with perfect accuracy! Ask Grant if you want…I would not tell a lie.

I have experienced a little heartburn lately. Specifically for a few of my close friends. It seems that there is a plague of discouragement going around, and the Enemy wants to use that to bring them down. I know that the Lord will comfort and strengthen them as they call on Him. But it seems harder when you are in the place of despair yourself. This a pretty random thought…and largely un-specific. But to the ones who are in that dark place right now, I want to toss out an encouragement — God is faithful! God is gracious! We KNOW that…don’t we? Well then…let’s stop doubting, and start believing. Let’s stop worrying, and start praising. Let’s stop wondering, and start giving thanks to our loving God!

Hey Everybody! Just a quick update from Cowtown. Kesha and I had a long drive up, but it was a good one. It took us about 17 hours to get here which includes a 2 hour nap on the side of the road. We have been pretty busy since we got here. We have eaten some good sushi, had some yummy fresh mango/strawberry bubble tea, seen a blues concert (don’t ask), gone to the Old Spaghetti Factory, and there is even more in store for us before we leave in the morning.
We are going to Ridgeview today (my old Church). That will be a good time I’m sure. Then we are going to drive out to Banff to see the mountains and the wildlife. It is so beautiful here…but SOOO cold! It has been below freezing pretty much the whole time we have been here. And that really stinks when neither of us has a good winter jacket. But we’re being tough and making the best of it.
Well…my brother in law just made some French toast and the aroma is calling my name. See you guys in a couple days (unless of course you aren’t one of the handful of people who actually read this regularly).
