I think that the Lord has put in me an especially strong desire for creativity. I can’t say how much I love to sit down and write a song, edit a picture, or tweak a website. I remember the glory days of uLife when I was leading worship and given free reign to design all the logos, brochures, business cards, booklets, etc. That was freakin’ AWESOME! I loved it! I would like to really grow in my skills and see how the Lord would use that.
He has put a desire in me for ministry – and I just want to be used for His glory. I guess we’ll see what doors open up.
I have been really thinking a lot about my future. I want to provide for my wife. I’d love to be able to have a house my kids can call home. I can’t wait to find a job I love to go to everyday. I wouldn’t mind having a car – I would even settle for a motorcycle:). I just don’t know where all this fits in to the designers plan. What is His arrangement for us?
All in due time I guess.

My heart is packed full of dreams. Everyday I swear I could reach in there and pick out a new one. Something fresh, fun, and exciting to pour myself into. But I don’t want to just follow some random trail. I have a longing to follow the Lord. That is where Kesha and I have been lately. We just want to go where the Lord wants us. Pastor B spoke this week about how we choose what we do with our lives. It spoke to our hearts for sure.
Well…I know I am cutting this short…but I gotta get back to work.
Adios

I have had a lot of neat opportunities arise in the last couple weeks. For one, Kesha and I are going to be leading worship at Church in about month. That will be great. Both of us have really been hurting to get back into ministry.
I have also designed a few sites in the last few weeks. The one I have worked on most recently is www.billnorris.org. It is almost done. We are just need to put some final touches on it and it will be ready. I have also recently designed a site for Grace Church in Texas. It should be up sometime soon too. The pastor at our Church asked me to help with redesigning their site. That should be a fun project. I really enjoy that ministry. I know I’m no PRO – but it’s fun anyway.
Then this week I got a couple shows booked. The first is at a Church in Keizer. They are putting on a Youth Concert. It is gonna be a blast! The other is for a Charity Event in Stayton. It is put on by Safeway. That should also be a great opportunity.
Other than that, I have a show this Saturday at Dragonfly. It will be nice to be back there. They closed for a while, but now have new ownership. That is where Kesha and I met. It will be a fun show!
I just got the Brian Littrell CD – WELCOME HOME. It is pretty much awesome! So check it out.
Well – it is back to the grind for me.
peace

I never thought marriage would be like this. I can’t believe that I could ever love someone so much! Kesha makes me so happy and proud. I get so excited when I think about our future together. I know that there will be curve balls along the way – things NEVER go according to OUR plan – but nevertheless, I know that things will be amazing. I can trust that the Lord is working a miracle in us each day as we trust in Him.
Anyways…I just wanted to say how wonderful my wife is. I love her more and more every day!

What a week! It has FLOWN by! Kesha and I spent a nice weekend together. And that pretty much NEVER happens. I usually have at least 1 show each weekend – if not 2 or 3! I purposely didn’t book one so we could spend some time together.
On Saturday we had a nice drive up to Portland. We went to an awesome joke shop and bought some fun stuff. Gotta love the Billy-Bob teeth, Fake Lotto Tickets, and the Screaming Flying Monkey!
Yesterday went to a nice Church picnic. It has been great to spend time with people in fellowship at this Church. It is really great. I am getting together with the Pastor to talk about how Kesha and I can get more involved.
I am really just trying to gain a vision for where the Lord would have Kesha and I go (not that we need to go anywhere). And I am learning more and more everyday about trust. Trust is hard to place in the Lord – and even harder to place in other people. But we need to trust that the Lord has a divine plan for us and that He is doing things that we can’t even see.
Anyway – there is a lot more on my heart right now. But you can only squish so much into a 15 minute break!
peace.

Kesha and I had a CRAZY BUSY weekend! Not only did I go into work on Saturday, but I had 3 shows this weekend! Today we went to Church and then went into Portland for a while. It was fun to just spend some good quality time together! I don’t have a show next weekend, so we are gonna try to do something special and fun.
Anyway, I just figured I hadn’t written in a while. So I hope this ties you over for a while. I will write again soon.
BYE!

I hope this post is somewhat of a retraction of the last. I want to first say how incredibly blessed I am. I can’t believe how wonderful my wife is, I have a job that pays well, a good reliable car, a beautiful apartment, and my health. I really have nothing to complain about. Yet I still find a way to be ungrateful. I know that the Lord has grace for my stubborn heart. And I pray that I can learn to be content in ANYTHING. That is very easy to say — but so hard to let it go to the Lord.
That’s it for today.
