So I have been reading a book on and off for the last month or two. It is called “The Greatness of the Kingdom” by Alva J. McClain. It is frickin’ awesome! I have learned so much already and I am only on page 217. It is deep into stuff I have never even thought about. I love it! I feel a revival in my desire to read and grow in my knowledge of spiritual things.
Anyway, I have to get back to work. I just thought I would toss that little commercial at ya!

WOW! Times are busy for us lately! But I feel like God is doing some really mighty things in our lives, so I don’t mind it so much. Kesha and I are really being blessed by our church. We have been given opportunities to serve, and also to be served. It is great!
I have been working on the new site for New Harvest (our church) all night. It is coming along pretty well. I am sitting at Steam Heat Coffee, where Kesha is working. She is so cute. And every now and then she comes and gives me kisses — I don’t mind that!
Anyway, I just wanted to put some words down here. I know it is a little random and not too significant — but that’s all I got right now.
I hope y’all are doing dandy.

Things have been so crazy lately. Kesha and I have had a few AMAZING opportunities come our way in the last couple months. It has been marinating for a while, but I think we have somewhat of a plan for the next little while.
I have to admit that things have been a little unclear as far as God’s plan for us last year. There have been various thoughts of ministering in Seattle, pursuing music in Austin, becoming Mormons, etc. But through time and prayer, God is beginning to reveal His plan for the next few years of our lives.
First order of business – WE’RE BUYING A HOUSE! Kesha is out at the property right now picking out our lot. It is a brand new 3 Bedroom/2 Bath home in SE Salem. It is such a wonderful place. We are going to be able to use it to entertain and bless others (which we LOVE to do). It is great because it isn’t built yet, so we get to pick the exterior color, carpets, linoleum, and countertops. It is a huge blessing!
Next up, I am starting Seminary again this fall. I am quitting my job and starting full time again at Faith Seminary. During the last year or so I have had a few ambivalent thoughts about school, but Kesha and I have prayed our heads off about this decision, and I really see the Lord leading me there. It is gonna be a busy next few years!
We are going to have a lot going on in the next few years, but we are both so excited about it. We both feel so close to each other and so in love. We are incredibly happy to be in a Church that we love. And we have been given opportunities to minister like mad.
To say the least, things have been crazy and unexpected for us. But we are ok with that. We trust that the Lord has a good plan for our lives, and we are just following Him.

So we bought a new washer and dryer from Sears (don’t EVER buy from Sears), and it has been pretty much nothing but a huge headache. Anyway, turns out we had the wrong plug-in for the dryer, the wrong breaker, and the wrong socket – so they refused to install it for us (even though we paid $55 for it). So my wife quickly goes to Electrician School, then goes to Sears to get the new plug, goes to Home Depot to get the new breaker, switches out the breaker in our breaker box, hooks up the wires in the back of the dryer, installs the vent hookup, and plugs it in. Unfortunately it started a huge fire and we are now out on the street – just kidding! It works better than ever! My wife is an electrician. I am very proud!
