Things have been busy lately. But that’s ok. It will only be for the next couple months. Then I will be working 20 hours at the Church, and going to school Full-Time. I imagine school will take about 30 hours per week — so that will leave me enough time to still have a life with wife and friends…and myself!
I am really excited to be working at the Church! My “official” start-date isn’t until October 1st. But I am keeping busy trying to prepare myself to jump into that role. I am anticipating working along side the pastor. He really has a heart for people, and is obviously being used by the Lord. It will be nice to be getting academic training from seminary, and the pastoral training from the Church.
The Lord is great and being so good to me and Kesh. We can’t wait to see what waits for us in the years to come.
Anyway, I am at work. I just thought I would toss out a quick update.

So the last month or so there has been something in the works that I haven’t shared about. I wanted to, but I thought it would be best to wait. Well…now that things have gone favorably for me, I think it is the time to share the big news!
After a series of about 4 thorough interviews, tons of prayer, and a clear calling from God — I have been asked to come on staff at our Church as the new Worship Minister! It will be a half-time position (since I will be a full-time student for the next 2 years), but I think it will allow for tons of growth on my part — and hopefully on the part of those I have the privilege of leading.
Anyhoo — that’s one tid-bit of news that has been cooking up for a while. But stay tuned for more — because there’s ALWAYS more!
Peace.

Kesha and I had a really fun day in Lincoln City. We were able to buy a few new pieces of clothes (something we haven’t done in a LONG LONG time). That was fun.
I really enjoy spending time with Kesha. We were talking today about how much closer we have grown in the (almost) year that we have been married. It is AMAZING to have each other. It is wonderful to know that God has placed us together forever. To love, serve, and cherish until death do us part. Marriage is a beautiful thing.
We are having a nice Long Weekend so far. I think tomorrow we will head into Portland for some fun.
That’s all I got to say right now.
I hope y’all have a nice weekend!
peace
