So Kesha isn’t feeling too well (it’s the whole pregnant thing), so we’re just gonna go grab a movie or something. It is nice to have a night off with my woman. She is so wonderful, and we love each other LOTS!
Anyway — we drove by our house for the millionth time today. It is almost done. We are moving in less than a month!!! WOW! The walls are up. The electric is done. The plumbing plumbs. The windows are in. The tubs are ready to use. It is VERY exciting to be buying our first place together! This is a very special time in our lives.
Anyhoo — I am gonna get off the Internet and give my wife some kisses now!

There have been some great opportunities come my way in the last short while. I am really hoping and praying that the decisions that need to be made in the near future are clear to me. Sometimes I feel like there are so many “options” — but I know that God has a master plan that is working its way out in my life.
I just had breakfast with my pastor, and now I am getting ready to head to work (since I am not at work now).

I remember the days when people would actually leave comments on my blog. It would inspire me to write more often. But lately I feel like no one reads my blog. Then again, maybe my words aren’t as “profound” as they used to be — who knows? All I know is that it was nice to check my blog and see someone had left a comment for me.

I can’t wait to be retired. I think that will be a liberating experience. To be able to live life with that kind of purpose would be amazing. I don’t want “the next paycheck” to be my motivation. I want to do what I do because it’s what I want to do!
The last couple weeks have been very busy for me, but one thing I am beginning to realize, is how much I LOVE working for the Church. I feel like life has a purpose, and I am part of something bigger than me. Something significant. Something divine.
Kesha and I have often dreamed with words about our future. And I know that we will be in ministry our whole lives. Even when we retire, we want to serve the Church somehow – not because we have to, but because we couldn’t be happy doing anything else.

I was so blessed this past week! It was our first anniversary, and it was AWESOME! We went out to Seaside, OR and spent a few beautiful days chilling on the beach and strolling the shops. Not to mention that we had a Jacuzzi in our room!! I am so in love with my wife, and I can see how our love has grown and developed even over 1 short year. I can’t wait to see what this next year brings – or the next 50 years for that matter! We took Riley with us too. He LOVED the beach! He even swam in the ocean! Talk about cute!
This week was also my first “official” week on the job at New Harvest. It is such a blessing to minister there. This Sunday Pastor Barry invited the elders up to pray for me and Kesha. It is so great to know that we have the full support of the church as we enter into this role. I love it!
Last night we went a chilled with some friends for some games. It was sweet to break out the old Settlers of Cataan. It has been way too long!
And one last little detail for those of you who don’t read my wife’s blog – WE’RE PREGNANT!!!! Yeah…she is 10 weeks along and feelin’ it. Throw up a prayer for her (and me) when you get a chance.
