Life has been pretty busy lately – but it has been good. I am excited to lead worship tomorrow morn. It is a hymn service so it will be pretty fun! Except for the waking up at 5:30am thing. Other than that, it will be great. Anyhoo – this is gonna be short cuz I am doing other stuff, but here is a few new pics of our little bundle of joy!

I have spent a couple days at my new job now, and I think it is a really great fit. I know I will learn lots, meet a bunch of new people, and make some money. Praise to God!
So I am making a decision to start working out again. Now that I have a free pass to the nicest gyms in town (another perk of working for the courthouse) I don’t want to let it go to waste. Plus I could use to lose some of the 30lbs of sympathy weight that I gained 
Anyway — I am off to work. Here are a couple really cute pictures!

Life is so different now that I have a child. My whole world is changed! And I can’t believe the desire that God has put in my heart to provide for them. I am convinced that God installed in me a longing to provide for my family. As a single man, I didn’t really care if I ate Buffalo Chicken strips 3 times a day, and lived in the cheapest apartment I could find in the worst neighborhood in town. But now, I care about all that stuff. I want to provide the best for my family. God put that in me.

We are really proud of Cohen. She gained 6 oz in 4 days! That is a big deal for a preemie like her! She is sweet like candy!
On another note – the Elliot Yamin CD rocks some tail. Especially track 13 – I’m in love with you forever.

I just got a call from the Courthouse Athletic Club. They offered me a position that will be able to supplement my income at the Church and give me flexibility for ministry! PRAISE GOD! I am thankful that God confirmed my call to New Harvest by providing this job! I am so thankful!

This time in my life has been the biggest stretch of faith I have EVER had to encounter. Because now I am not only trusting God for myself, I am trusting Him for my wife and helpless baby girl. Christ said in Matthew 6 not to worry about money — but that is very difficult when you have almost none. But one thing I know is that HE WILL come through!
For this reason I say to you, do not be worried about your life, as to what you will eat or what you will drink; nor for your body, as to what you will put on. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing?Look at the birds of the air, that they do not sow, nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not worth much more than they?
And who of you by being worried can add a single hour to his life?
And why are you worried about clothing? Observe how the lilies of the field grow; they do not toil nor do they spin, yet I say to you that not even Solomon in all his glory clothed himself like one of these.
But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which is alive today and tomorrow is thrown into the furnace, will He not much more clothe you? You of little faith!
Do not worry then, saying, ‘What will we eat?’ or ‘What will we drink?’ or ‘What will we wear for clothing?’
For the Gentiles eagerly seek all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things.
But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.

what a gemIt is so crazy to see how fast Cohen is growing. Since she has been home her umbilical cord has fallen off, she had her first bath, she has gone to the doctor 4 times, and is getting a little round tummy! I can’t believe how much she has changed our lives! Here are some pics of my pride and joy!
On another note, I have been praying lately that God would open up doors for us to make enough money to stay at New Harvest. Since I only work part-time at the Church, that gets tough sometimes. So pray that God opens up some doors to supplement my income a bit (or a lot).
