Kesha called me today at work. She wasn’t feeling very well. So I came home to watch Coey for a while. Kesha is taking a little nap right now. Co and I are watching “Finding Nemo”. Fun stuff! Look how big she is getting!

Twitter is a service for friends, family, and co–workers to communicate and stay connected through the exchange of quick, frequent answers to one simple question: What are you doing?
I found this the other day. I incorporated it into my blog sidebar using a wordpress plugin. It is pretty cool. It allows you to keep your followers updated on what you are doing. You can even incorporate mobile notification so that you can post tweets from your phone. Pretty cool eh?

I spent all night working on the new MYMINISTRYDESIGN.COM. It was a LONG night. Take a look and let me know what you think. I would be interested to hear feedback from you.

13 Days…

I was just out with my buddy Nic and a bunch of his friends for his bach party. He gets hitched in 13 days. Wow! I remember the feelings that come along with all that. The craziness that fills your brain with all the preparation and jazz. But there is the ultimate payoff in the end. We had a great night tonight. We spent the first couple hours shooting some clay pigeons. Then we headed out to Spirit Mountain for some buffet eating and casino fun. I lost $30 
poor me. O well…it was a night for the books.
My phone died halfway through the night and I didn’t realize it. Kesha was trying to call me for the last couple hours. Needless to say I came home to a not-so-happy wife. She was calling all our friends to see if I was ok. I was. But I felt like a bit of a turd for not calling her (sorry babe).
Anyhoo, I am off to bed now. I am beat like a rented mule!

Life is really tough sometimes. There are days when I feel so discouraged…and this is one of them. This really hasn’t been the best week for me. Yet in it all I can know that God loves me and is taking care of me. I can at least be encouraged in that. It is easy to look at my circumstances for my joy – but I need to just rest in God right now. I need His comfort.

I am a little too tired to think…but I wanted to write a quick post. So here goes nothing…
I am reading a really great book right now called Church Marketing 101:
I really have a passion for helping the church be relevant to the world. It is so difficult because the church as a whole is pretty much stuck in the 70s. I think of 50 years back when people were all “suit & tie only” and “no drums in worship”… I feel like we have progressed beyond that (for the most part), but I think we have hit a new wall. A wall that is hindering us from reaching the lost. We are way too comfortable with where we are.
I just registered a new website called trickedoutjes.us – it will be a while before I have something up there. Eventually my desire is for it to be a place where “Creativity meets Christianity”. Web. Art. Music. Video. Print. Drama. Basically any creative element we can use to God’s glory.
Well…that’s about it for now. I am about to die of sleep deprivation…zzz

My Mom went to Florida last month and she sent a sweet package of goodies for Cohen. Included was a CD of all the best Disney tunes, Disney Cloths, and best of all — her first pair of ears! Here are the pics. Thanks mom!
