I am in Canada now after a long 15 hour drive. I was able to do it with the help of 1 large sonic slush, a venti double shot, a lo-carb monster, a big box of hot tamales, and a couple stops at Subway. Right now I am in the hospital with my 2 sisters waiting for my dad to get some tests done. He won’t be able to see a specialist until Tuesday of next week. I look forward to spending some good time with him while I am here. Kesha & Co will probably come up in a few days. Pray for us all!
My dad was diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer last night. It was a pretty big shock to all of us. I am leaving this morning to drive up and spend some time with him. Please pray for our family and my dad as he goes through this. He is a strong believer as of 8 years ago, and he is in very good spirits. I will write an update once I get up to Canada and know more about what is going on.

Kesha and I had a wonderful date last night! Gramma Kathy came over and watched the Co for us while we went to the Oregon State Fair and stuffed our faces with all sorts of junk. It was a blast! We walked around for a couple hours looking at all the animals and being solicited by all the random crap-sellers. Here is a pic to make you jealous…look at the size of that Elephant Ear!

I am so excited because Kesha has a date planned for us tomorrow night. It starts at 5pm, and yes — we have a baby sitter! It is so rare that Kesha and I get to just go out and enjoy each others company. I really look forward to holding her hand and not having to worry about anything else other than being with her!
On another note, I have been playing guitar and singing a little bit in the evenings lately. It has been many months since that has been a habit of mine. Cohen used to get in the way, but now she gives the guitar a few strums, but then she lets me jam. I love singing and writing songs. It is one of those simple little pleasures in life.

On another note, I have been using Gmail lately and I really like it. I have also tried out some of the other Google products (Google Calendar, Google Docs, etc). It really is just another step towards a complete online operating system. I like it!
