Hi Dad!

We had a fun Chrismas this year. I spent a lot of time with just Co and Kesha. We had lots of fun and this is the first Christmas where Cohen actually knew what was going on. She loved opening all her gifts. She got spoiled for sure! We also spent some good time with my inlaws. They are so great! I loved getting to spend the holidays with them.
I must admit that I have thought about my Dad a lot in the past few weeks. It was a time though to be thankful for who my Dad was. This was a time of year that he loved because he could really let his generous spirit shine. But he gets to spend Christmas with the Christ himself and I am sure he is praising Him with all his heart right now. I wonder if they celebrate Christmas in heaven?
Anyway, I will leave you with these super cute videos of Cohen. She is such a funny girl!

Since it is Christmas time, I thought it would be an opportune time to share a neat service that Kesha and I use. It is called Wishlistr. You can use it to add items to an online wishlist. You can sign up here: http://wishlistr.com. It is easy to add items to your wishlist using their bookmarklet.
If you are feeling the giving spirit, you can check out our wishlistr lists here:

The Thomas Family had some great fun tonight with tokbox. This amazing service lets you make video calls with all of your friends for FREE! We talked for a while with Randy Mooney and his family, and Chad & Jessica and their little girl Emma. That was all good and fun, but in reality I can chat with them in person whenever I want. The real power of tokbox was when we called my family up in Canada and we got to talk with her my sister and her family. My favorite part is that Cohen got to talk with her nieces. They all had a blast! They grew so close during the months we were up to see my Dad, and I don’t want them to lose that. I hope we can make it a tradition to hop on the toxbox every now and again. Family is so important!
Peace!

We had a nice little family outing tonight at Chuck E Cheese. We got a individual pizza and got 100 tokens for $10. We played all sorts of games and won 500 tickets! Woo hoo! All we have to show for it are 3 twisty straws, a pair of plastic sunglasses, and a couple of Airheads candies. But hey, it was worth all the fun! Here are some pics:

Here are a couple great videos of Cohen. In the first she is just dancing up a storm to some Christmas songs, and the other she is flashing gang signs. Enjoy!

I wrote a quick ditty tonight after coming home from the grocery store. It is after midnight, the girls are sound asleep. But I couldn’t get this song of surrender out of my mind. I just wanted to tell God that my desire is to honor Him by living my life for Him. I recognize there is nothing I can do or say to begin to say thank you for what He did on the cross — but nevertheless, I want to give Him 100%.
The video is shotty at best, but it was done real quick and there is probably going to be another verse in the mix somewhere down the line. Here it is with lyrics below:

Lord I come to You now
I’m giving You my everything
At Your feet I lay it down
And there is nothing I don’t bring
Cause I have nothing apart from You
That would make me want to sing
There is nothing I withhold from You
Take me as an offering
I’m living my whole life for You
I’m giving You all I am
Cause you gave up Your whole life for me
As the Pure Spotless Lamb
And there is nothing I can say
There is nothing I can do
But live my whole life for You

I have gone back to Seminary — FINALLY! It has been several years since I have been a real student. I am taking it slow, but it will be great to be sitting under such wonderful teachers again. This weekend I am attending a class on Worship. It is put on by Dr. Ron Allen. He is a freakin’ genius! Another quick note, I am working on a new theme for the blog. I have already swapped out the header, but look for some major changes to the sidebar in the near future.

Did you know that you can post to your Wordpress blog via email? It’s true — I am doing it right now! Pretty handy for when you can’t access your blog at work (on your lunch break of course), or want to send a message from your phone. Do you have a wordpress blog and need help setting this up? Let me know, and I will hook you up!

We are really excited to announce that we are going to be parents again! Kesha is about 9 weeks pregnant and we got our first ultrasound yesterday. Everything looks good to go, and our little one is growing up real fast. Kesha posted the first ultrasound picture on her blog, but I wanted to do something real special here. I found a cool company out of the UK that can use pictures of the parents to determine what your baby will look like. Isn’t she an angel?
