Wow! I must say I have never seen my wife so large…in a good way. Kesha is officially full-term and Isla’s big debut is just around the corner. Every time Kesha calls me I think she is going to tell me she is in labor. I can’t wait!
As much as I can’t wait for Isla to come, I am cherishing the moments that I have with Cohen as my only daughter. She is such a special angel and she just melts my heart. I love her with every fiber of my being. She makes me such a happy guy.
Today when I came home for lunch she ran into my arms screaming “Daddy! Daddy!”. I just love that! She really adores me as much as I adore her.
Cohen will always be my little love bug, but soon she won’t be my only little girl.
Cohen got a great gift today from her grandpa. It’s a John Deere Gator just for kids. It’s fully motorized and Cohen is a great little driver. She got in a couple little fender benders, but she is picking it up really well. Here’s a little vid…
July is going to be an amazingly busy month for the Thomas crew. We are just weeks away from seeing our baby girl, Isla. It will be amazing to have another daughter. I can’t wait to hold her and smother her with kisses.
Another big change that is coming is with my work situation. I submitted a proposal to the Courthouse (where I work as a web/graphic designer) to shave off a few hours to free up some time for VINTOM.com – my freelance web design business. They agreed. So starting July 1st I am going down to 3 days per week.
I have a few new clients that I just started to work with, and I have just finished up a couple nice projects that will be good to put on my portfolio. But I have never really solicited myself or tried all that hard to build my business. Most of it has just been word of mouth. So if you know anyone who needs a quality website, toss them my way.
I have been working with a few churches lately which is really cool. I would love to be able to grow enough to be able to pursue ministry related design only. This is definitely a step in the right direction.
I want to try something. I have always liked wine – personally I am more of a beer guy, but wine has always been a good option. When I was up in Canada last weekend for my friend Tom’s wedding, I had an AMAZING wine. It was a Merlot. It was so tasty and went perfect with my steak and fish. This little experience has put a little burning in my bosom to learn more about wine. I live in the Willamette Valley for goodness sakes — you’d think I would know a little something about wine.

There are only weeks left now until little Isla is born. We are so excited to see her beautiful face. I look at Cohen and I can’t imagine loving anyone the way I love her. But I know once I lay my eyes on Isla that will all change. Kesha is doing really well with her pregnancy.
I have been working tons on a bunch of freelance clients. I have been doing a lot of thinking about what the next few years have in store for me in the “work” department. I have a feeling there are some changes on the horizon. But I just have no idea what it will look like. There are tons of open doors for us right now, it’s just a matter of discerning which path to walk down.
I could really use prayer during these next few months. I know there is going to be tons on my plate. It’s all good stuff, but it will just be lots to handle. I am loving this adventure…
