I figured it is never too early to reserve domain names for the girls. Their names are unique enough that the probably won’t get taken. But just in case, I thought I’d register them. For only $10/year it’s a worthwhile investment.
I figured there’s no sense in letting the domains just site there, so I set them each up with a Tumblr account. Kesha and I will try to keep the updated with pictures, video, and other cute things they say and do.
Every human on the face of the planet has a purpose. There is only one me. There is only one you. And there are things that you were created to do. You have a divine purpose. So are you living up to it?
I know it’s easy for me to get comfortable. I have many grandiose dreams and plans for my life that I hope to get to someday. But don’t we all? What happens when “Someday” turns into 25 years from now. I can see myself now sitting on the couch with a bag of Doritos and a bunch of unfulfilled dreams.

Author, speaker, and creative-thinker Seth Godin released a free manifesto entitled “Brainwashed: Seven Ways to Reinvent Yourself“. It’s a great challenge to get past the invisible walls we have built for ourselves and start living the lives we were meant to live. I love my mother-in-law. She is such a wonderful, loving, and kind woman. She decided on a whim to call me up and offer to come watch the girls so Kesha and I can go on a date. How awesome is that?
I know it is very cliche to say that 2010 will be the year that I get healthy; but I must say that the new year has started off well in the health department. I found a website called The Daily Burn that helps to track food, body weight, and workouts. It is super easy to use, and best of all it is FREE!
I already have about 10 friends signed up. We are connected to each other as “Motivators”. You can choose to share your nutrition, workouts, journal entries, and leave little messages for each other. It’s kind of like a social network built around a fitness and nutrition tool.
I have tried many similar tools out there, but the Daily Burn is by far the best I have come across yet.
I have been reading about 2 books per month during the last half of 2010. Well…to be completely honest, I have been LISTENING to about 2 books per month. I have an account with Audible.com and buy audio-books to listen during my commute. Here are a few that are on my reading list for 2010:
