FERRIS BUELLER’S BI-ANNUAL DAY OFF

I think every one should have a day off every now and again. A day when you can call in to work sick and go to the beach (or you can just stay home and eat ice cream and watch movies all day). When I was younger I vowed that I would celebrate a new holiday: it was to be called “FERRIS BUELLER’S BI-ANNUAL DAY OFF”. Twice a year, I would just take the day off. That would be sweet! I haven’t really held up my end of the bargain. So I imagine sometime in the next few months I will have to call in “sick”.

Spread the word. Who knows…maybe Hallmark will pick it up.

    I think it’s a great idea! One can always go to work for the State; they have several “Ferris Bueller” days!

    I think we should name it a national holiday! I would say around March or May. That would be perfect!

    Let’s say March 15th? I think that was what it was originally. Then another one on October 15th.
