I Loved That Wine…

I want to try something. I have always liked wine – personally I am more of a beer guy, but wine has always been a good option. When I was up in Canada last weekend for my friend Tom’s wedding, I had an AMAZING wine. It was a Merlot. It was so tasty and went perfect with my steak and fish. This little experience has put a little burning in my bosom to learn more about wine. I live in the Willamette Valley for goodness sakes — you’d think I would know a little something about wine.

You’re the first person I thought of when I wanted to start this adventure. I need some sort of “wine for dummies” course. Maybe we should hook up sometime soon and do a little wine night. Kesha can drink grape juice so she doesn’t feel so out of the loop (sorry honey).

Gosh, Thanks Adrian! You’re so thoughtful… A whole month is just waaaay too long for my hubby I guess. Grape juice, come on! I might as well just stay home!

Do you know what the name of that wine was you tried?
I’m on call until Friday, but friday afternoon, I’m wanting to take off work and have a bar-b-q/sangria time. Wish you could be here, it would be awesome!

I don’t remember the name of the wine in Ontario. But it was great. I think it was local to Niagra Falls area.
I have tried a few nice wines since then though. I really like Syrah wines. Better than merlot in my opinion.
