Like Ice Cream…

We have been going hard on the record this last week. Today we will spend all day in the studio doing acoustic guitar. I am excited to put that down and see what it sounds like all put together. We have all the drums done – Bass is done – and today we should get most (if not all) of the acoustic done. Then it is time to lay the vocal tracks. After that, it is up to Derek (my producer) to add keys, electric guitar, & loops. Once all the instrumentation is down it will be a matter of mixing and mastering. Bada-boom bada-bing — YOU GOT YOURSELF AN ALBUM! I am excited to know that Derek is gonna go for 11 songs. That is 1 more than I expected. I might leave which song it is as a surprise. I guess you will just have to buy the album once it is out in the fall.
I miss Kesha lots! I wish she was here to chill with me today! I would love to just spend some quality time with her. She has become such a HUGE part of my life that it really feels jacked up not to have her with me at all. At least we have gotten to talk a lot lately. I miss her like crazy mad way…don’t say way.
I know that last line doesn’t make sense. Just accept it and move on.
