I figured it is never too early to reserve domain names for the girls. Their names are unique enough that the probably won’t get taken. But just in case, I thought I’d register them. For only $10/year it’s a worthwhile investment.
I figured there’s no sense in letting the domains just site there, so I set them each up with a Tumblr account. Kesha and I will try to keep the updated with pictures, video, and other cute things they say and do.

I know there are lots of folks out there who read my blog but never comment — trust me, I have the stats to prove it. Or what’s almost worse is when you do comment but don’t have a Gravatar.
Anyway, for those of you who have thought of commenting, but haven’t up to this point — it is now even easier! I have added Facebook Connect and Twitter login to my site. All you have to do is click the button near the comment form, and comment away!
I hope to have more of you leaving comments now.

It has been a while since this blog has had a new look, so I thought I would throw together this clean simple theme inspired by Posterous. I like the look/feel of Posterous, but I wanted the options that WordPress provides. So this is my middle ground.
I haven’t been the best blogger lately. Life has been busy to say the least!
I am going to try to start posting more often. Even if it’s just a quick picture, video, or random thought.

I read a great article on Collide Magazine yesterday. If you have a moment, it might be worth the read. Here is a quick excerpt:
I guess I want to make this simple statement first and foremost: After watching people like you for years and years, I want you to know that the stuff you create doesn’t matter as much as you think it does. After years of experience, I’ve come to the conclusion that the artistic designs you engage in may only marginally impact someone’s life. I know that’s a very blunt statement, but someone needs to say what everyone else is already thinking.

I have gone back to Seminary — FINALLY! It has been several years since I have been a real student. I am taking it slow, but it will be great to be sitting under such wonderful teachers again. This weekend I am attending a class on Worship. It is put on by Dr. Ron Allen. He is a freakin’ genius! Another quick note, I am working on a new theme for the blog. I have already swapped out the header, but look for some major changes to the sidebar in the near future.

So tonight I did something amazing. I fixed our car. For some strange reason the brake lights wouldn’t turn off. so I got all underneath and did my magic. I researched the problem on the internet and found out the right parts I needed to work on. I headed to AutoZone and about 30 minutes later we were good to go. For those of you who know my mechanic skills, you know that is a pretty great accomplishment.
On another note, you probably noticed I updated the look of the ol’ blog. What do you think?

So I have spent the last week or so designing this theme for my blog. It is the first WordPress theme I have designed from scratch. It was a big project, but now that I have designed one, I feel it will just become easier in the future. I will most likely be doing some refining over the next few weeks…but here is the first glance.
