Cohen got her first “Big Girl Bike” this weekend. She’s already a pro! Check out this cute video of her decked out in her biking gear while singing “By Myself” (from Barney).
By Myself Lyrics
I can do it
There’s nothing to it
I can do it by myself
I asked for help when I was small
Now I’m big, I can do it all
Feeling proud as you can tell
I can do it by myself
Today was an incredible day! Not only was it Easter, but it was Cohen’s third birthday!
Isla and I started the day waking Cohen up singing “Happy Birthday”. She loved it! Then we all got ready for church — which was also great!
After church we went to lunch with family and friends to celebrate Easter and a little bit of Cohen’s birthday (technically Cohen’s party is going to be next weekend).
I can’t believe how much I adore my little Co. I remember bringing her home from the hospital — all 4lbs. 11oz. of her! And now she is so incredibly smart, funny, energetic, loving, and full of joy! She is growing up too fast. I tuck her in every night and we read books, tell stories, and sing songs. And I know that this special time is not going to last long. Sad. I am just trying to treasure each moment I have with my little angel.
Kesha has been feeling like garbage since last night. She is upstairs trying to relax, and I get to watch the kiddos. They are so fun!
I can’t believe how big they are getting! Cohen turns 3 — yes THREE — in less than one week. She actually has her birthday on Easter Sunday. Isla on the other hand is almost 10 months old. She is starting to get such a wonderful personality. She is snuggle bug and loves her mommy, daddy, and sister a lot.
On Saturday we went to the beach for a fun day in the sun. Here are a few pictures from our little trip:
We had such a wonderful time this weekend in Eagle Crest. The trip was such a relaxing time for the whole family. Kesha and I were dying to just take a break. Here are a few pics from our trip.
Kesha is even more beautiful than the mountain.
The food wasn’t half bad.
Cohen’s candy necklace was her second favorite part of the trip.
Her favorite part was swimming in the hot tub.
Isla decided to join us for a dip too.
Can’t wait to go back.
I figured it is never too early to reserve domain names for the girls. Their names are unique enough that the probably won’t get taken. But just in case, I thought I’d register them. For only $10/year it’s a worthwhile investment.
I figured there’s no sense in letting the domains just site there, so I set them each up with a Tumblr account. Kesha and I will try to keep the updated with pictures, video, and other cute things they say and do.
Every night before bed we brush Cohen’s teeth. I remember as a kid singing the “Brush Your Teeth” song. I couldn’t really remember all the lyrics, so I made some up for myself. Now Cohen loves to get her teeth brushed before bed!
