The Reason I Blog…

I was talking with some friends over a night of coffee, wine, cheese, chocolate, and mongolian grill about blogging. They used to blog here and there, but I guess it never really caught on in their lives. They asked us what it was that made us blog. So here is my answer…

I blog…

• to share news about my life
• to let off steam
• to share pictures
• to keep in touch with friends
• to learn about others (via commenting and polls, etc)
• to post videos
• so my family in Canada doesn’t forget about me
• so my friends in Australia (and other places) can keep up on the Thomas-Clan (yes we are a “Clan” now)
• to post new music
• to share struggles in my life
• to share victories in my life
• to share about cool things I come across
• because it is therapeutic
• because I like designing my blog

Those are just a few reasons. I am sure there are other reasons that I can’t think of right now (reasons that are tucked away deep in my subconscious mind). But I am pretty sure blogging will be around forever. And I hope I can keep up with it. I have gone through a few ups and downs in the blogging realm — but overall I feel I have been pretty consistent.

So this is my 570th blog entry. I hope you enjoy my blog and continue to visit.
